Wallingford Auto Body is a licensed and insured repair facility. We work directly with all insurance companies regarding the repair of your vehicle. All work completed at our shop is guaranteed.

Connecticut State Law provides that you have the right to repair your vehicle at the auto body shop of your choice.

Please be advised that NO insurance company can force or try to steer you to go to a shop of their choice. This is in reference to Section 38a-354 of the Connecticut General Statutes. This statute prohibits the steering of business to repairers of motor vehicle damage and strengthens the existing anti-steering language. This statute is effective October 1, 2007. A law is already in place prohibiting the insurance companies from forcing business to auto repairers of their choice.

Some insurance companies call these shops "concierge shops", "direct repair shops", "blue ribbon shops" and "priority repair option/PRO shops. These are among the few names out there. The insurance companies will use several sales tactics in order to get their policy holders to go to these various shops. Remember that the insurance company works for you. You pay the premium and have a right to go to the shop of your choice.
